Watch a Trailer for Michelle Monaghan in Hulu’s “The Path”
Michelle Monaghan will star in a new Hulu series about a cult called The Path.
Michelle Monaghan, who played Maggie Hart in True Detective’s first season, is returning to television. Sort of. Monaghan will star in a new Hulu exclusive series called The Path. That’s not new news, as we’ve already known about this since June. Now, however, we have a juicy new trailer to gush over.

The Path stars Michelle Monaghan, Hugh Dancy, and Aaron Paul — three actors from acclaimed television series. Although Hannibal was ruthlessly and thoroughly snubbed, both Breaking Bad and, of course, the first season of True Detective, were celebrated series. You can check out the trailer below, which features all three looking deadly serious:
Hugh Dancy, sporting his Hannibal American accent, takes the lead in the trailer as a charismatic cult leader, while Aaron Paul becomes more and more intertwined with the controversial and subversive group. Michel Monaghan plays Aaron Paul’s wife in a role that doesn’t seem all that different from her one in True Detective, though it’s looking like her part will be a bit more substantial this time around.

Our first look at The Path offers a complicated, twisting story, and all the trappings of such. There’s also a murder involved, as if things weren’t exciting enough. The Path will premiere on Hulu on March 30th, so there’s plenty of time left to show us a bit more of Monaghan’s part. The first trailer does enough to pique interest; now it will just have to keep it up.
